L-L League Players of the Week

Here are the Lancaster-Lebanon Quarterback Club PowerPro Players of the Week:

Cedar Crest fullback Garrett Starry caught a 14-yard touchdown pass and did a great job blocking. The senior linebacker also made a dozen tackles, two tackles for loss, and a fumble recovery.

Freshman safety Rudy Brisbane from Elizabethtown returned two interceptions for touchdowns.

Connor Horning of Cocalico was an efficient 4-of-6 passing for 92 yards and a touchdown. He added 56 yards and another score on the ground. The junior safety made six tackles and broke up two passes.

Daniel Boone senior quarterback Dominic Stoudt ran for 198 yards and 3 TD on 35 carries. He threw for 86 yards and a touchdown.

Annville-Cleona senior Yama Navarro racked up 253 yards and a score on 24 carries. He also had three tackles.

Kareem Nichols from Columbia hauled in seven passes for 297 yards and 4 TD. The senior safety added three tackles.

Here are the PowerPro Linemen of the Week from the L-L League:

Griffin Schomp of Cedar Crest finished with four pancake blocks against Hempfield. The sophomore OT/DL contributed on defense with three tackles and a sack.

Elizabethtown’s Matt Sikora received the highest blocking grade on his team. The junior G/DT also provided a tackle for loss and a fumble recovery.

Joey Buckley from Twin Valley was a force on both sides of the ball. The 6’1, 275-pound senior led a defense that allowed just 84 total yards and no points. Buckley had a pair of sacks.

Nolan McQueen of Lampeter-Strasburg earned the highest blocking grade along his offensive line. The senior made five tackles and a sack.

Pequea Valley sophomore defensive end Ben Zellers piled up twelve combined tackles, including six tackles for loss.
