Most head coaches would be thrilled with a 35-7 win, but not Bob Wolfrum. The Spartans’ Hall of Fame coach wasn’t pleased with his team’s execution and intensity against Boyertown. Wolfrum burned an early timeout to let his players know that he wasn’t happy. This is Wolfrum’s 35th season as Wyomissing’s head coach. He has 325 wins; second-most among active coaches in Pennsylvania. Wolfrum has guided the Spartans to nine District 3 championships and a state title. We talked about playing on Saturday afternoon, as well as the importance of establishing a passing attack in a Wing-T offense. Wolfrum also discussed the emergence of Jven Williams and Nevin Carter.
