The Spartans opened their first home game of the season with a 77-yard TD drive. They rolled to a 35-7 victory over Boyertown and improved to (3-0). Wyomissing is ranked #3 in the state in Class 3A by PennLive. Junior HB Charlie McIntyre finished with 69 yards and a TD on eight carries vs. the Bears. He broke off runs of 23 and 25 yards. McIntyre said the depth that the Spartans have helps to keep all of the RB’s fresh. He described Jven Williams as a “brick wall.” Williams is a 6’4, 310-pound junior OL/DL who’s getting DI interest. We also talked about the Wing-T offense and legendary head coach Bob Wolfrum.
