Week 9 Scoreboard-Football

Exeter fell to Conestoga Valley 28-27 at Don Thomas Stadium. Jayden Zandier’s two-point conversion run was ruled short with eight seconds remaining. The (9-0) Buckskins move ahead of the (8-1) Eagles in Section 2.

Conrad Weiser rallied from a 21-3 deficit to win at Cocalico 24-21. The (9-0) Scouts clinched the Section 3 championship after going (2-8) last year. Donovan Gingrich tossed three touchdown passes.

Twin Valley got blown out at Lampeter-Strasburg 62-14. Both teams were ranked in the top 10 in the state in Class 4A by PennLive. The (7-2) Raiders have lost two in a row.

Wyomissing left Octorara with a 31-7 victory. The (8-1) Spartans are second in PennLive’s Class 4A poll. They host undefeated Lampeter-Strasburg next Saturday afternoon.

Wilson hammered McCaskey 56-7 in West Lawn. The (8-1) Bulldogs are ranked #10 in the state in Class 6A by PennLive. They travel to Manheim Township next week to decide the Section 1 title.

Gov. Mifflin rolled over Elizabethtown 48-14 in Shillington. The Mustangs improved to (5-4).

Reading lost at Oxford 42-14. The Red Knights sit at (2-7).

Schuylkill Valley extended its winning streak to six games. The (7-2) Panthers knocked off Annville-Cleona 49-28 in Leesport.

Berks Catholic cruised past Hamburg 48-14. The Saints and the Hawks are both (5-4).

Fleetwood came up short at Solanco 55-10. The Tigers stumble to (3-6).

Kutztown earned its first victory of the season. The Cougars took apart winless Columbia 42-17.

Daniel Boone is (1-8) after a 36-13 defeat at the hands of Northern Lebanon.

Boyertown outlasted visiting Norristown 14-7 in overtime. The Bears picked up their first win.

Muhlenberg visits Academy Park on Saturday at 1pm. The Muhls are (3-5).
