Week 9 Scoreboard-Football

Exeter lost at Conestoga Valley 34-27. Jayden Johnson gave the (7-2) Buckskins the lead on a 54-yard TD run with seven minutes remaining. The (8-1) Eagles were ranked #3 in the state in Class 5A by PennLive.

Wilson defeated McCaskey 47-20 in Lancaster. The (7-2) Bulldogs earned their 600th all-time victory.

Twin Valley rolled over Daniel Boone 54-7 in Elverson. The (8-1) Raiders clinched at least a share of the Section 3 championship.

Gov. Mifflin was shutout at Manheim Central 42-0. The (8-1) Barons travel to Exeter next Friday. The Mustangs stumble to (4-5).

Berks Catholic got tripped up at Cocalico 42-14. The Eagles extended their winning streak to eight. The Saints drop to (4-5).

Schuylkill Valley left Annville-Cleona with a 14-13 win. The (8-1) Panthers got All-State RB Dom Giuffre back from injury. He had a 60-yard touchdown run. Schuylkill Valley sits alone atop the Section 5 standings.

Hamburg took care of Northern Lebanon 41-34 on Hawk Hill. Freshman Blaise Ernst had a 19-yard TD run with 19 seconds left. He finished with 146 yards on 21 carries for the (5-4) Hawks.

Fleetwood outlasted visiting Solanco 44-41. The Tigers climb to (4-5).

Muhlenberg lost to Ephrata 59-0 in Laureldale. The Mounts are (8-1) while the Muhls dip to (1-8).

Conrad Weiser fell to Lampeter-Strasburg 42-0 in Robesonia. The (8-1) Pioneers are ranked #10 in Class 4A by PennLive. The Scouts slide to (2-7).

Kutztown dropped its home contest with Columbia 25-8. The Cougars are (2-7) with one game to go.

Perkiomen Valley cruised past Boyertown 35-7. The Bears’ record goes to (2-7).

On Thursday, unbeaten Central York ran over Reading 39-0 at Shirk Stadium. The Red Knights are (1-8).

On Saturday, Wyomissing hosts (2-6) Octorara at 1:30pm. The (7-1) Spartans are #2 in Class 3A, according to PennLive.
