Week 8 Scoreboard-Football

Wyomissing handed Twin Valley its first loss 34-24. The Raiders were ranked #1 in the state in Class 4A by PennLive. The (7-1) Spartans got 285 rushing and receiving yards from sophomore Justice Hardy.

Unbeaten Exeter rolled over Hempfield 36-3 in Reiffton. It was the Eagles first game without injured quarterback Riley Martinez.

Wilson shutout Penn Manor 58-0 at Millersville University. The (7-1) Bulldogs allowed -31 total yards and zero first downs. They’re (34-0) all-time against the Comets.

Gov. Mifflin blew out Lebanon 56-18 in Shillington. The Cedars have dropped 40 consecutive games. The Mustangs have split their eight contests.

Conrad Weiser improved to (8-0) with a 21-7 victory over Warwick in Robesonia. Donovan Gingrich had two short touchdown runs.

Schuylkill Valley won the 50th edition of the Frost Bowl 30-21 at Hamburg. The (6-2) Panthers extended their winning streak to five. They now hold a (25-24-1) advantage versus the Hawks.

Muhlenberg fell at Ephrata 32-0. The Muhls slip to (3-5).

Manheim Township blanked Reading 54-0 at Shirk Stadium. The Blue Streaks remain perfect this year. The Red Knights are (2-6).

Fleetwood came up just short against visiting Manheim Central 28-26. The (3-5) Tigers trailed 28-6 entering the fourth quarter. They scored with three minutes remaining, but the 2-point conversion failed.

Daniel Boone picked up its first victory. The Blazers blocked an extra point in the final quarter to hold off Donegal 7-6 in Birdsboro.

Kutztown lost at home to Lancaster Catholic 41-20. The Cougars are still searching for their first win.

Spring-Ford defeated Boyertown 31-6. The Bears stumble to (0-8).
