Week 8 Scoreboard-Football

Schuylkill Valley beat Hamburg 28-13 in the 49th edition of the Frost Bowl. The rivalry is now even at (24-24-1). The (7-1) Panthers scored all of their points in the first half. The (4-4) Hawks committed four turnovers.

Exeter stayed undefeated with a 49-27 victory over Hempfield at Don Thomas Stadium. Jayden Zandier scored four touchdowns. The Eagles are ranked #3 in the state in Class 5A by PennLive.

Wilson took care of Penn Manor 24-6 in West Lawn. Tommy Hunsicker ran for 119 yards and 2TD. He threw for 188 yards. The (6-2) Bulldogs are (33-0) all-time against the (3-5) Comets.

Twin Valley fell at Ephrata 52-33 in a key Section 3 matchup. Both teams are (7-1). The Mounts piled up 427 yards.

Gov. Mifflin shutout winless Lebanon 45-0. The (4-4) Mustangs ran for 305 yards while allowing just five first downs.

Berks Catholic snuck past Octorara 22-19. Bryce Gumby put the (4-4) Saints on top with a 5-yard touchdown run with 21 seconds remaining!

Fleetwood lost at Elizabethtown 33-26. Ian Brosey caught a 7-yard touchdown pass with 29 seconds left for the (2-6) Bears. The Tigers slip to (3-5).

Manheim Township remained unbeaten with a 41-0 win over visiting Reading. The Red Knights are (1-7).

Warwick used three defensive scores to knock off Muhlenberg 64-7. The Muhls drop to (1-7).

Daniel Boone came up short at Solanco 48-27. The Blazers slide to (1-7).

Lancaster Catholic prevailed over visiting Kutztown 58-21. The (2-6) Cougars were within 26-21 at halftime.

Boyertown lost at Owen J. Roberts 40-14. The Bears fall to (2-6).

On Saturday, (6-1) Wyomissing hosts (2-5) Conrad Weiser at 1:30pm. The Spartans are ranked #2 in the state in Class 3A by PennLive.
