Week 6 Scoreboard-Football

Wyomissing won at Donegal 41-7. The (6-0) Spartans pitched a shutout in the second half.

Exeter remained perfect with a 47-7 rout of Warwick at Don Thomas Stadium. James Franklin visited Exeter High School this morning. Eagles’ 6’6 senior tight end Joey Schlaffer is committed to Penn State.

Berks Catholic cruised past Conrad Weiser 45-0. JayJay Jordan ran for a career-high 176 yards and 2TD. The Saints have won two in a row after a (0-4) start. The (3-3) Scouts were limited to 83 total yards.

Twin Valley lost to unbeaten Solanco 32-25 in Elverson. The (3-3) Raiders were held to 3 points in the first half.

Hamburg got tripped up at Lancaster Catholic 38-35. Both teams entered the night at (5-0). The Hawks were without leading rusher Pierce Mason due to an injury.

Reading fell at Cedar Crest 39-0. The Red Knights slip to (2-4).

Daniel Boone slides to (1-5) after a 26-13 loss at undefeated Elizabethtown.

Muhlenberg got blitzed at Manheim Central 70-0. The (6-0) Barons posted 55 points in the first half versus the (2-4) Muhls.

Schuylkill Valley won at Northern Lebanon 39-12. The (4-2) Panthers didn’t allow a point in the second half. They trailed 12-10 at the break.

Kutztown lost to visiting Annville-Cleona 42-28. They were tied at 21 at halftime. The Cougars are (1-5).

There are three games involving Berks County teams on Saturday. Rivals Wilson and Gov. Mifflin square off at 1pm. I’ll have live updates from Shillington. Boyertown visits Norristown at 2pm. Both squads are (2-3). It’s homecoming at Fleetwood. The (2-3) Tigers meet Kennard-Dale at 7pm.
