Week 10 Scoreboard-Football

Wilson knocked off Manheim Township 21-14 on a rainy night at John Gurski Stadium. Jadyn Jones ran for 177 yards on 30 carries. Brad Hoffman piled up 148 yards and 2TD on 25 carries. The Bulldogs have won a record 28 Section 1 championships in the Lancaster-Lebanon League. They currently hold the state record with 46 straight winning seasons! Wilson is (7-3). The Blue Streaks fall to (6-4).

Gov. Mifflin ran past Berks Catholic 42-13. Aiden Gallen had 213 rushing yards and 2TD against his former team. Nick Singleton added three more scores. The PSU commit is up to 104 career TD’s! The Mustangs have won 66 of their last 68 league games. Gov. Mifflin has captured the Section 1 championship in the Berks Football League for the 13th time in the last 16 years. The Mustangs are (8-0). The Saints drop to (6-4).

Muhlenberg earned its first victory of the season. The Muhls defeated Reading 38-6. Muhlenberg ends a 26-game losing streak. The Red Knights slip to (1-7).

Fleetwood took care of Kutztown 49-30. The Tigers were up 49-0 at halftime. Fleetwood moves to (6-4). Kutztown is (2-8).

Hamburg won the Frost Bowl 21-13 at Schuylkill Valley. The Hawks are going to the District 3 playoffs at (6-3). The Panthers end up (2-8).

Boyertown snuck past Upper Merion 20-19. The Bears go to (4-6) on the season.

A District 3 committee ruled the Exeter-Daniel Boone game a “no contest.” Exeter had requested a forfeit. The Blazers’ football program has been shut down after several players tested positive for Covid-19. Daniel Boone is (5-3). Exeter is (6-3).
