Tyler Minick-Gov. Mifflin

Tyler Minick is an outstanding baseball player who has already committed to UCONN. The Gov. Mifflin junior showed at Exeter that he’s pretty darn good at football too. Minick returned the opening kickoff 75 yards for a TD! He also recovered an onside kick to start the second half. Minick explained to me why the Mustangs decided to run that kickoff play. Gov. Mifflin jumped out to a 30-0 lead and ended up winning 54-21 at Don Thomas Stadium. Minick talked about playing with star running back Nick Singleton who’s going to Penn State. Singleton piled up 246 yards and 4TD on 20 carries against the Eagles. The Mustangs are the top-ranked team in the state in Class 5A at (6-0).
