“Roberts Rankings”-Football

We’re past the midway point of the regular season. The top five teams in my poll continue to roll. They all won by at least 21 points last week. There are no changes in the first six spots in my rankings.

Exeter meets Muhlenberg in Reiffton on Friday night. The (3-3) Muhls dropped out of my poll after losing a nailbiter at Elizabethtown. The Bears picked up their first victory with a touchdown in the final 35 seconds. Wilson returns to West Lawn to face Hempfield. The Black Knights have split their first six contests.

Twin Valley entertains Donegal this Thursday. Be sure to note that game is a 6pm kickoff in Elverson. The (1-5) Indians were blanked 49-0 by Wyomissing a week ago. Speaking of the Spartans, they’re back home against winless Daniel Boone this Saturday afternoon.

Conrad Weiser hasn’t been (6-0) since 2020. The Scouts travel to Garden Spot on Friday. The (3-3) Spartans came up short at Warwick 21-6 last week. After falling to rival Wilson 43-20, Gov. Mifflin has another tough test this Friday. The Mustangs are on the road versus Conestoga Valley. The (6-0) Buckskins are averaging 39 points per game.

Schuylkill Valley moved up one position in my rankings after a thrilling 20-14 victory at Berks Catholic. The Panthers try to extend their three-game winning streak this Friday. They take on winless Columbia in Leesport. Hamburg jumps into my poll following a 28-13 win at Lancaster Catholic. The Hawks visit the (3-3) Pequea Valley Braves this week.

Without further ado, here are my Berks County high school football rankings. Remember that no matter where your favorite team is ranked, the sun will come out tomorrow!
