“Roberts Rankings”-Football

Here are my Berks County high school football rankings. Remember that no matter where your favorite team is ranked, the sun will come out tomorrow! Berks County teams went (6-9) in Week 2. There were three all-Berks matchups. The schools that were ranked #4-#7 in my poll all lost. Gov. Mifflin, Berks Catholic, and Daniel Boone are still searching for their first victory. The Mustangs are at Boyertown this week. Wyomissing has rolled in its first two contests by identical scores of 49-0. The Spartans host Trinity on Saturday at 1:30pm. Berks Catholic also has a Saturday matinee. The Saints head to Pope John Paul II for a 1pm kickoff. Exeter faces West York at Don Thomas Stadium on Friday. Wilson meets Martin Luther King High School from Philadelphia in West Lawn. The Bulldogs are coming off a 17-10 win at Central Dauphin. Conrad Weiser is back in my poll after holding off Fleetwood 28-21. The Scouts visit Twin Valley this week. I’ll have live updates from Elverson. The Raiders try to bounce back from a tough 17-14 loss to Lower Dauphin. Hamburg moved up one spot to #7. The Hawks entertain (0-2) Fairfield on Friday. The Knights have been outscored 81-7.
