Here are my Berks County high school football rankings. Remember that no matter where your favorite team is ranked, the sun will come out tomorrow! Believe it or not, we have reached the final week of the regular season. That means league championships need to be decided! Unbeaten Gov. Mifflin travels to Berks Catholic on Friday. The Mustangs have won 65 of their last 67 league games. One more win gives them the outright title in Section 1 of the Berks Football League. PSU commit Nick Singleton enters the matchup with the Saints with 101 career TD and 5,661 rushing yards. Gov. Mifflin, Berks Catholic, and Wyomissing are #1 in the District 3 power rankings in their respective classes. The Spartans take on Conrad Weiser on Saturday afternoon. The Section 2 championship in the Berks Football League is on the line. Wyomissing has already clinched at least a share of the title. The Scouts are riding a four-game winning streak. The battle for the Pig Iron Trophy won’t take place this year. The Exeter-Daniel Boone rivalry game is cancelled due to further positive Covid-19 cases within the Blazers’ program. The Daniel Boone football team is shut down through this Friday. The Blazers have won five of their last six games. Wilson has earned at least a share of its record 28th Section 1 championship in the Lancaster-Lebanon League. The Bulldogs meet (6-3, 3-1) Manheim Township in West Lawn on Friday. Wilson is looking for its fifth consecutive victory. If the Bulldogs come out on top, they will secure a spot in the District 3-6A playoffs. I’ll be there and have live scoring updates. Twin Valley is guaranteed its first winning season since 2007! The Raiders make the trip to (6-3) Gettysburg this Saturday night.
