Realignment in L-L Football League

I mentioned weeks ago that changes were coming to the Lancaster-Lebanon Football League for 2024 and 2025. The new sections were voted on and officially approved this morning. Ten schools will be moving to a new section for the next two seasons. There are no changes in Section 1. Berks Catholic is going from Section 4 to Section 5. That means the “Backyard Brawl” with Wyomissing will not be a mandatory league game for the next two years. Football schedules are expected to be finalized on or before Friday, November 3rd. There are 37 teams in the L-L Football League. The Berks Football League merged with the L-L League last year. Here are the new sections for 2024 and 2025.

Section 1: Manheim Township, Wilson, Hempfield, Penn Manor, Cedar Crest, Reading, and McCaskey.

Section 2: Exeter, Gov. Mifflin, Muhlenberg, Conestoga Valley, Lebanon, Ephrata, and Elizabethtown.

Section 3: Manheim Central, Cocalico, Warwick, Conrad Weiser, Fleetwood, Solanco, and Garden Spot.

Section 4: Wyomissing, Lampeter-Strasburg, ELCO, Twin Valley, Daniel Boone, Donegal, Octorara, and Northern Lebanon.

Section 5: Berks Catholic, Schuylkill Valley, Hamburg, Kutztown, Lancaster Catholic, Annville-Cleona, Pequea Valley, and Columbia.
