Greyson Bell commits to Mississippi State

Daniel Boone ace Greyson Bell has decided where he will be playing college baseball. The 6’2, 185-pound southpaw is headed to the SEC. Bell committed to Mississippi State on Wednesday morning. “The environment is different there. Mississippi State is the most competitive program in college baseball,” he said. The Bulldogs went (43-19) overall this past season and (16-14) in conference action. “From the fans to the facilities to the staff, Mississippi State was the clear choice,” replied Bell.

Bell is ranked as the #1 lefty in the Class of 2028. He throws six pitches, including a fastball at 91-93 mph. As a sophomore, he allowed just twelve hits over 41.2 innings. Bell was (6-1) with a 1.01 ERA. He racked up 75 strikeouts with only 14 walks. Bell fired a no-hitter in the BCIAA quarterfinals. The Blazers defeated Oley Valley 2-0. He was a first team All-State selection in Class 5A.
