Wyomissing improved to 4-0 with a 47-7 win over Hamburg at the A-Field. The Spartans are ranked #3 in the state in Class 3A, but longtime head coach Bob Wolfrum knows that there’s a lot of room for improvement. For the second straight week, Wolfrum told me that his offensive line isn’t doing a good enough job. He was, however, happy with the discipline that the defense showed against the Hawks. We discussed his decision to onside kick in the third quarter. Wolfrum also talked about FB Tommy Grabowski and HB Drew Eisenhower. Grabowski ran for 106 yards and 2TD on just nine carries. Eisenhower had 2TD including a 50-yard catch. Wolfrum is (326-85-1) over 35 seasons at Wyomissing.
