After five successful seasons as the Scouts’ head basketball coach, Billy Harrison is stepping down. We talked about why he decided to make the decision now. Harrison was (65-49) overall and (13-7) last season when he guided Conrad Weiser to the Berks County semifinals and the District 3 playoffs. I asked Harrison what he’ll miss most about coaching, and the level of competition in Berks County. We also discussed what he’s looking for in the Scouts’ next head basketball coach. Plus, you will hear Harrison’s thoughts on the upcoming merger between the Berks Football League and the Lancaster-Lebanon League. Harrison will remain as the athletic director at Conrad Weiser.
