As Yogi Berra said, “It’s deja vu all over again.” For the second straight season, Bryce Detwiler was voted the Berks County Player of the Year. The Gov. Mifflin shortstop and pitcher is committed to UConn. Detwiler fired a complete game three-hitter with seven strikeouts in the BCIAA Championship. The Mustangs defeated Berks Catholic 11-1 in six innings. Gov. Mifflin’s Chris Hole was named the Berks League Coach of the Year today. Hole is in his 13th season at the helm in Shillington. Detwiler was joined on the All-County team by his teammates Ethan Grim and Travis Jenkins. They are also repeat selections. Here’s the entire 2025 All-Berks baseball squad.
