The coaches in the Berks League selected the All-County baseball team on Sunday. Tyler Minick was voted the Player of the Year. The Gov. Mifflin junior is hitting .500 with 28 runs, 21 RBI, and an on-base percentage of .616. Minick has 14 extra base hits including six home runs. The UConn commit was dominant on the mound (4-0, 0.93) before experiencing some arm trouble. He piled up 42 strikeouts while walking just six.
Brian Kopetsky is the 2022 Coach of the Year in Berks County. He guided Muhlenberg to the BCIAA championship. The (19-3) Muhls defeated Oley Valley 11-3 for the county title at FirstEnergy Stadium. Kopetsky has 324 wins over 23 seasons at Muhlenberg. The Muhls earned the #1 seed in District 3-5A.
