There were two highly anticipated high school football games in Berks County on Friday. One of them was close and the other was not. Wilson fell to Central York in a high-scoring affair at John Gurski Stadium. The Bulldogs’ six-game winning streak came to an end. Twin Valley overcame an early 14-0 deficit and then rolled over Exeter in Reiffton. The Raiders are the only unbeaten team remaining from Berks County. Schuylkill Valley has won eight in a row. Berks Catholic is over the .500 mark after earning its fourth straight victory. On Saturday, Wyomissing hosts Octorara at 1:30pm. The Spartans are looking to extend their winning streak to six. The Braves are searching for their first win of the year.
