“Roberts Rankings”-Football

Here are my Berks County high school football rankings.  Remember that no matter where your favorite team is ranked, the sun will come out tomorrow!  Only three Berks County schools are still alive in the District 3 playoffs.  The season came to an end for Wilson and Hamburg on Saturday afternoon.  The Bulldogs came up short at Harrisburg 32-21 in the District 3-6A quarterfinals.  The Cougars eliminated Wilson for the fourth time in the last five years.  Hamburg lost at top-seeded Wyomissing 49-14 in the District 3-3A semifinals.  The Spartans will go for a four-peat on Saturday afternoon when they host third-seeded West Perry.  Exeter blew out Dover 42-12 at Don Thomas Stadium.  The Eagles will meet #11 seed Northern York in the District 3-5A semifinals on Friday in Reiffton.  Twin Valley earned its first victory in the District 3 playoffs by defeating Milton Hershey 43-29.  The Raiders move up one spot in my poll this week.  They travel to #1 seed Bishop McDevitt on Friday in the District 3-4A semifinals.
