“Roberts Rankings”-Boys Basketball

Here are my Berks County high school boys basketball rankings. Remember that no matter where your favorite team is ranked, the sun will come out tomorrow! Reading extended its winning streak to six with a 17-point victory at Berks Catholic. Ruben Rodriguez put on another show in the second half. The junior guard finished with 35 points. The Saints’ seven-game winning streak came to an end. Wilson has won seven of its last eight games. The Bulldogs have a tough non-league test against Methacton on Saturday afternoon. Muhlenberg wrapped up the Division 2 championship. The Muhls battle Reading next Tuesday in a highly anticipated crossover matchup. Exeter has dropped four of its last five contests. It doesn’t get any easier for the Eagles on Thursday when they visit Berks Catholic. Gov. Mifflin has its work cut out on Thursday as well. The Mustangs travel to the Geigle Complex. The only change in my latest poll is Tulpehocken at #7. The Trojans, winners of seven of their last eight, are a-half game behind Antietam in Division 4. Bryce Mellen and David Bednarczyk are combining for 34 points a night. Fleetwood lost by eight at Tulpehocken on Saturday. The Tigers are still on top of Division 3.
