Here are my final Berks County high school football rankings for the 2021 season. Remember that no matter where your favorite team is ranked, the sun will come out tomorrow! Wyomissing ends up on top of the poll. The Spartans won the Section 2 championship in the Berks Football League before claiming their third straight District 3 title. They once again finished as the state runner-up in Class 3A to Central Valley. Exeter made history by capturing District 3 gold for the first time. The Eagles advanced to the state semifinals in Class 5A. Gov. Mifflin has gone (18-2) over the last two seasons. The Mustangs were the Section 1 champ in the Berks Football League and the runner-up in the District 3-5A playoffs. PSU commit Nick Singleton ended his incredible career with 6,326 rushing yards and 116 touchdowns! Wilson earned its 28th Section 1 title in the Lancaster-Lebanon League. After a (2-3) start, the Bulldogs made it all the way to the District 3-6A Final. Berks Catholic put together its 11th consecutive winning season. Conrad Weiser featured one of the best QB-WR combinations that we’ve ever seen in Berks County. Logan Klitsch and Aanjay Feliciano helped the Scouts secure their 13th winning season over the past 15 years. Twin Valley made its first appearance in the District 3 playoffs. The Raiders surpassed the .500 mark for the first time since 2007. Fleetwood and Hamburg deserve to be mentioned as well. Both were (7-4). The Tigers won the Eastern Conference 5A/6A championship. Congratulations to all of the players and coaches for making this another outstanding season of high school football!
