Only Southern Columbia managed to score over 14 points against the Spartans this season. Central Valley put 35 points on the board in last year’s Class 3A state final. Carter told me that loss to the Warriors has motivated his team. We also talked about the addition of 240-pound DT/FB “J.J.” Jackson. Carter is part of the offense as well at wide receiver.
