Diohnny Ruiz-Hamburg

Diohnny Ruiz is averaging nearly 13 yards/carry for the (5-2) Hawks. The 5’11, 185-pound senior is fourth in Berks County with 748 rushing yards on just 59 carries. He’s also Hamburg’s leading receiver with 16 catches. Ruiz makes the most of his touches with 15TD. He had 94 yards on the ground and 85 receiving yards last week against Conrad Weiser. Ruiz is also a very good rugby player. I asked him if rugby is tougher than football. The three-year starter said his confidence has grown tremendously in his offensive line.
