“Roberts Rankings”-Football

Here are my Berks County high school football rankings. Remember that no matter where your favorite team is ranked, the sun will come out tomorrow! There are no changes this week in my poll. Only two of my top eight teams lost (Exeter and Twin Valley), and they were beat by state-ranked teams in Gov. Mifflin and Wyomissing. The Mustangs face winless Muhlenberg in Shillington on Friday. PSU commit Nick Singleton has over 5,500 career rushing yards. He scored 4TD last week at Exeter. The Eagles have another big test this week. They travel to Berks Catholic. I’ll have updates and postgame reaction from that Section 1 matchup. The Saints are #1 in the District 3-4A power rankings. Wyomissing visits Kutztown on Friday. The Spartans are the top-ranked team in Class 3A in District 3. Wilson needs to keep winning to keep its District 3 playoff hopes alive. The Bulldogs are on the road against Cedar Crest. Conrad Weiser has a non-league contest this week. The Scouts meet (5-2) New Oxford in Robesonia. Fleetwood heads north to (5-2) Hamburg. Twin Valley entertains Schuylkill Valley on Friday in Elverson.
