Eagles’ running back Eric Nangle suffered an injury in Week 1 vs. Central York. Nangle told me that he’s back to 100% and it showed against Wilson. The 175- pound senior ran for 209 yards and 3TD on 22 carries! Nangle gave Exeter the lead for the first time on an 82-yard score with 1:38 left in the first half. The Eagles never looked back. They outgained the Bulldogs 271-98 on the ground. Exeter averaged 7.7 yards per carry in a 42-14 victory. Nangle gave credit to the coaching staff and his offensive line. He also said that the Eagles have several of the best players in Berks County.
