The Eagles went toe-to-toe with highly touted Central York at Don Thomas Stadium. Exeter had its chances, but struggled in the red zone and lost 35-28 in a nailbiter! Head coach Matt Bauer gave credit to Panthers’ QB Beau Pribula who’s headed to Penn State. Pribula was 17-24 for 337 yards and 4TD. He also ran for a score. Bauer was pleased with the performance of several of his players including J.R. Strauss, Joey Schlaffer, Colin Payne, Ty Yocum, and Joey Reedy. We talked about an incredible 49-yard TD catch by Strauss late in the third quarter. Bauer also addressed some areas that the Eagles need to improve on for next week’s game vs. Boyertown.
