The (1-1) Bulldogs fell behind 28-2 in the second quarter, but pulled within 28-23 with seven minutes left in the third period. Wilson outgained the Bucks 376-to-248, however, the Bulldogs committed six turnovers. Louisville running back commit Justice Hardy left the game in the opening quarter with an injury and didn’t return.

Monty Greer ran for 118 yards and 3 TD on 14 carries. Cole Peterson finished 13-of-20 for 234 yards and 3 INT. He connected four times with tight end Mike Glover for 82 yards. Nick Miletto rumbled for 105 yards and 3 TD, including a 46-yard score. His 2-yard touchdown made it 35-23 with 11:25 remaining. Louie Cipolla was all over the field for the (2-0) Bucks. He scored a pair of touchdowns and made three interceptions.

Spring-Ford-21, Exeter-7

The (2-0) Rams prevailed in a defensive battle at Don Thomas Stadium. Spring-Ford struck first just four minutes into the game on a 27-yard touchdown pass from senior quarterback Kaden Pickersgill to Rowan Harmon. The (1-1) Eagles evened things up at 7-7 thanks to a 1-yard TD run by Donovyn Alvarez with 7:34 to go in the third quarter. Harmon put the Rams back on top with an 8-yard touchdown run in the final minute of the third period. The 5’11, 190-pound junior sealed the deal late in the fourth quarter. Harmon reached the end zone again from two yards out with 1:49 on the clock.

Aidan Gerhart completed 14 of his 25 attempts for 157 yards and an interception. Tight end Braylon Reinert (6’4, 230) caught four passes for 45 yards. Spring-Ford’s defensive line was stout. Alvarez was held to 28 yards on 14 carries. Josh Jackson was limited to 29 yards on 11 touches. Sophomore Jaiheer Dasilvio had a team-high 62 yards on 5 carries. Alvarez led Exeter’s defense with nine combined tackles. Junior cornerback Brady Adams made seven stops.

Boyertown-28, Gov. Mifflin-21

The (1-1) Bears rallied from a 21-7 deficit with four minutes left in the third quarter to beat the (0-2) Mustangs in Shillington. Boyertown snapped a 10-game losing streak to Gov. Mifflin. The Bears earned their first win in the series since 1994. Boyertown accumulated 456 total yards, including 308 on the ground.

Aziyah Brown had a huge night with 247 yards on 19 carries. His touchdown runs came from 69 and 61 yards away. The Bears took the lead on a 23-yard touchdown pass from Gavin Royce to Chase Fluck with 1:27 to go. Royce was 11-of-16 for 148 yards and 2 TD. Jackson Koback reeled in seven of those passes for 113 yards and a 29-yard touchdown. Logan Hermann led Boyertown’s defense with ten total tackles.

Pat Steuer ran for 136 yards and a score on 18 touches. He ripped off a 63-yard touchdown to open the scoring with 9:48 to play in the first half. A 25-yard run by Trevor King gave the Mustangs a 13-0 advantage with ten minutes remaining in the third quarter. Sophomore quarterback Jack Miller was 16-of-28 for 159 yards with one touchdown and a pick.

Schuylkill Valley-38, Octorara-7

The (1-1) Panthers bounced back in a big way from their loss at Conrad Weiser in Week 1. Alex Aletras threw two touchdown passes and ran for two more scores. The 6’2, 185-pound senior was a perfect 7-of-7 passing for 69 yards. He used his legs for 87 yards on four carries. Sophomore receiver Will Johns made five catches for 55 yards and a touchdown. Seth Klinikowski added an 11-yard TD grab. Pamboge Sarr got 51 yards on his six carries.

Schuylkill Valley only had 22 offensive plays. Reese Wamsher gave the Panthers a boost in the kicking game. The senior drilled a 29-yard field goal to go along with five touchbacks. Wamsher also boomed a 53-yard punt.

Northern Lebanon-28, Hamburg-0

The (1-1) Hawks fell behind 14-0 in the first quarter at Fredericksburg. Brady Ryan had touchdown runs of two and thirteen yards in the opening period. Ryan hauled in a 44-yard touchdown pass from freshman quarterback Markus Miller in the fourth quarter. Christian Spencer added a 57-yard TD run with three minutes left.

Hamburg sophomore Isaac McFadden went 17-of-34 for 115 yards. His primary target, Alex Soto, ended up with eight catches for 49 yards. Eli Metzler provided five catches for 33 yards. Hamburg struggled to get the running game going against the (2-0) Vikings. Bryce Schmeck finished with 57 yards on 13 carries.

Muhlenberg-50, Reading-14

The (1-1) Muhls are keeping the “Battle of the Border” trophy. They rattled off the final 36 points on Thursday night at Albright’s Shirk Stadium. Adriel Baez was an efficient 11-of-17 for 252 yards and 4 TD. He used his legs for another score. Noel Irizarry had four receptions for 79 yards and two touchdowns. Kalib Perez chipped in with 80 yards and a touchdown on two catches. Manny Oforgaram-Edochie made the most of his nine carries. He finished with 106 yards. Ian Rodriguez wound up with 56 yards and 2 TD on seven carries. The 5’10, 190-pound junior linebacker was a force on defense as well with six tackles, two tackles for loss, and a fumble recovery. Senior defensive back Chase Zona racked up a team-high nine tackles and an interception.

Muhlenberg was in front 14-8 at halftime. The second half was delayed after a fight broke out in the stands. The (0-2) Red Knights tied it at 14-14 on a 2-yard touchdown run by sophomore quarterback Elijah Fleming with 7:48 remaining in the third quarter. There were 25 combined penalties.

Pottstown-14, Daniel Boone-8

Aaron Williams stole the show on Thursday at Birdsboro. The speedy junior caught a 79-yard touchdown pass and returned a tipped ball 46 yards for a pick 6. His interception put the Trojans on top in the second quarter. Neither team scored in the second half. Pottstown is (2-0) after going (0-10) last year.

Daniel Boone senior quarterback Dominic Stoudt was a workhorse. He carried the ball 28 times for 114 yards and a touchdown. Stoudt was just 3-of-12 for 25 yards through the air. Both teams were held under 200 total yards. The (1-1) Blazers travel to Hamburg next Friday.

Upper Perkiomen-33, Fleetwood-0

Through eight quarters, the (2-0) Indians still haven’t allowed a point. Upper Perkiomen defeated Boyertown 24-0 a week ago. The Indians limited Fleetwood to 130 total yards and 42 on the ground on Thursday. Meanwhile, Upper Perkiomen averaged 7.4 yards per carry. Grayson Sabo had two touchdown runs and a 21-yard TD toss to Aaron Maiden. Sabo has 246 passing yards and 206 rushing yards after two games. The 6’3, 225-pound senior is completing 73% of his attempts. Maiden, a 6’1 senior, is leading the receiving corps with six catches for 128 yards and three scores.

The (1-1) Tigers trailed 7-0 after a quarter and 21-0 at halftime. Chase Adams was 13-of-20 for 88 yards. He managed just 21 yards on a dozen carries. Beau Fegely was bottled up as well. His eight carries yielded 21 yards. Sophomore wide receiver Trey McKinney provided 56 yards on five receptions.

Executive Education Academy-40, Berks Catholic-21

The (0-2) Saints faced another non-league opponent with a quality quarterback. Shawntez Whitsitt accounted for four touchdowns on Thursday evening. The 6’1, 170-pound senior was 20-of-27 for 231 yards and 2 TD. He ran a dozen times for another 72 yards and two scores. The (1-1) Raptors ran 27 more plays than Berks Catholic.

Executive Education Academy built a 20-0 cushion at halftime. A 6-yard touchdown run by Whitsitt made it 32-7 in the third quarter. Dexter “Lalu” Connor made four catches for 95 yards. Ayden Ramos chipped in with 30 yards and 2 TD on 12 carries. The sophomore also had five receptions for 28 yards. The Raptors outgained the Saints 373-to-307.

Berks Catholic quarterback Kellen Bowman had an efficient game. The 6’2 freshman went 8-of-9 for 147 yards and a TD. Coy Koller caught a 51-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter. He also got 13 carries for 64 yards and a score. Ryan Spatz gained 38 yards on his 11 carries with a touchdown run. Alex Reali provided a bright spot on special teams. The 215-pound junior boomed a 77-yard punt.

After reaching the PIAA-4A championship game last season, Twin Valley opened its 2026 campaign with a 42-0 win at Middletown. The Raiders were in front 14-0 at halftime. They took control by outscoring the Blue Raiders 21-0 in the third quarter. “Our kids played really hard. We made too many mistakes, but our effort made up for them,” said coach Brett Myers. He won 72 games over eight years as Middletown’s head coach.

Villanova commit Lucas Myers ran for 138 yards and two touchdowns on eleven carries. Alain Bazile, a 225-pound senior, added 100 yards and a score on eight touches. Twin Valley displayed its big play ability. Grant Moser ripped off a 76-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. Chase Reilly went 69 yards to the house in the final period. Gavan Foster made his first start at quarterback. The 6’3, 180-pound sophomore finished 5-of-9 for 58 yards and a touchdown.

Conrad Weiser-27, Schuylkill Valley-13

Kole Kupper stole the show in Conrad Weiser’s home opener. The 6’, 185-pound junior piled up 202 yards and four touchdowns on twenty carries. “Kupper had a lot of nice holes to run through, but he was very elusive and broke a lot of tackles. He has some great vision,” explained longtime head coach Alan Moyer. All of the Scouts’ points came in the first half. Their defense allowed just six points in the second half. Linebackers Luke Walter (8) and Brennon Bond (7) combined for fifteen tackles.

Sophomore Kellen Stoy provided 100 yards on nine carries. Conrad Weiser racked up 360 yards on the ground. Senior quarterback Connor Sellars was 2-of-5 for 60 yards. “The offensive and defensive line played outstanding for us. That game was won in the trenches,” emphasized Moyer.

Alex Aletras went 11-of-17 for 108 yards and an interception. Schuylkill Valley’s 6’2 senior passed for 1,767 yards and 21 TD a season ago. Ervin Ortiz had 65 yards on just six carries.

Fleetwood-46, Kutztown-26

Mel Fegely earned a victory on the road in his debut as Fleetwood’s head coach. His sons, Beau and Hunter, played key roles for the Tigers. Beau Fegely, a senior running back, had a 65-yard punt return touchdown in the second quarter and a touchdown run. Hunter Fegely, a sophomore wide receiver, ended up with 106 yards and a score on four receptions.

Chase Adams has made the transition from receiver to quarterback this year. The 6’1, 195-pound senior threw for 207 yards and ran for 53 more on a dozen carries. “Chase was an all-star at quarterback. He ran the ball well. He threw some absolute dimes in key situations,” replied Mel Fegely. Adams made three touchdown tosses and used his legs for another score. Bryce Ryan, a 6’3 senior tight end, and Trey McKinney each caught a touchdown pass.

Fleetwood was on top 25-12 at halftime and 39-20 after the third quarter. The Tigers outgained the Cougars 339-to-236. “Defensively, I’m really happy with our performance. The linebackers filled gaps and made some great stops,” mentioned Mel Fegely.

Kutztown struck first when Hunter Amato took the opening kickoff 91 yards for a score. Ryan Walters led the Cougars with a trio of touchdown runs, including a 72-yard sprint in the second quarter. Kutztown ran the ball 43 times for 233 yards. “Kutztown is a tough team. They were physical and they brought it all night,” said Mel Fegely.

Hamburg-42, Midd-West-7

Isaac McFadden began his sophomore season with an impressive performance on the road. He finished 12-of-17 for 266 yards and 4 TD. “Isaac stepped up and made some big time throws. We have a lot of confidence in our receiving corps. He did a great job distributing the football and getting our playmakers involved,” remarked head coach Tyler Hartranft.

McFadden connected with Eli Metzler for a 61-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter. He found Alex Soto for a 60-yard score in that period. The Hawks held a 28-7 advantage at halftime. Blaise Ernst churned out 79 yards and 2 TD on ten carries. The 5’9, 175-pound senior suffered a broken leg in Week 2 last year and missed the rest of the season. Hamburg is looking to bounce back after going (2-8) in 2025.

Notre Dame-Green Pond-48, Berks Catholic-14

Berks Catholic had a difficult test in Week 1. Notre Dame-Green Pond went (12-1) last year and was the District 11-3A runner-up. The Crusaders outgained the Saints 435-to-283 on Friday night at Lafayette. Berks Catholic pulled within 14-7 in the second quarter thanks to a 39-yard touchdown pass from freshman Kellen Bowman to Coy Koller. However, Notre Dame-Green Pond outscored the Saints 34-7 in the second half. Berks Catholic struggled to move the chains. The Saints went 3-for-10 on third down and 1-for-4 on fourth down.

A pick 6 by Drew Boyd made it 21-7 in the third quarter. The senior WR/DB also contributed on offense with four catches for 91 yards and a score. Aaron Gordon chipped in with a pair of touchdown runs, including an 8-yarder that put the Crusaders up 28-7. Tommy Murphy was very sharp at quarterback. The 6’2, 200-pound junior went 19-of-22 for 279 yards with 3 TD. Murphy ran 15 times for 72 yards and another score.

Koller had a big game for Berks Catholic with 128 yards on 13 carries. Ryan Spatz ended up with 73 yards and a touchdown on 17 touches. Bowman was 2-of-9 for 45 yards in his debut under center.

Cocalico-40, Muhlenberg-21

In an era of spread offenses galore, Cocalico relies on an old school approach. The flexbone offense is a ground-and-pound attack. The Eagles ran the ball 59 times for 373 yards against Muhlenberg. Junior quarterback Connor Horning only attempted two passes all night. His twin brother, Logan, racked up 111 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries. The 5’5, 170-pound fullback also made a team-high nine tackles at outside linebacker. Cocalico got 91 yards and 2 TD from Rocco Colatta-Rigney. “After last season’s rough start with three losses by nine points to start the season, it’s awesome to have a win against a quality team to build upon. Hopefully, it helps build some confidence for our very tough schedule ahead,” said head coach Bryan Strohl.

The Muhls were on top 14-13 after the first quarter. Adriel Baez hooked up with Noel Irizarry for a 52-yard touchdown pass. Baez then connected with Kalib Perez for a 23-yard score. The Eagles responded with the next 27 consecutive points. Connor Horning escaped for a 42-yard touchdown in the third quarter. He had 73 yards and 2 TD on ten carries. Baez tossed a late 16-yard touchdown to Ian Rodriguez.

Daniel Boone-55, Lebanon-0

Steve Pangburn is off to a (1-0) start at Daniel Boone. The former Fleetwood head coach guided the Blazers to a 55-0 rout of Lebanon in Birdsboro. Daniel Boone built a 35-0 halftime cushion and averaged 12.3 yards per carry. The Cedars have lost 53 straight games.

The Blazers piled up 397 total yards, including 345 yards on the ground. Mason Ruffner erupted for 180 yards on just six carries. The 5’6, 155-pound junior reached the end zone four times. Senior quarterback Dominic Stoudt added 89 yards and 2 TD on eleven carries. He was 2-of-4 through the air for 17 yards. Chace Jardin helped lead Daniel Boone’s defense. The 6’3, 195-pound junior DE ended up with six tackles and one TFL.

Upper Perkiomen-24, Boyertown-0

The Indians’ defensive unit was the big story on Friday at Boyertown. They held the Bears to 115 total yards and six first downs. The first score of the game came from the defense. Ryder Jones returned a fumble seven yards for a touchdown with 9:16 left in the second quarter.

Upper Perkiomen struck again right before halftime. Grayson Sabo fired a 40-yard touchdown pass to Aaron Maiden with 50 seconds remaining in the second quarter. Sabo was an efficient 7-of-9. The 6’3, 230-pound senior threw for 103 yards. Zach Adam broke free for a 86-yard touchdown run with ten minutes to play. He wound up with 123 yards on 14 carries. Boyertown sophomore Aziyah Brown had a team-high 39 yards on nine touches. Gavin Royce was 6-of-12 for 51 yards and an interception.

Exeter-28, Norristown-6

Exeter’s Josh Jackson is taking over at running back for Leo Brown this year. The 6’, 185-pound senior got off to a great start. Jackson, one of four captains on the team, ran for 147 yards on 18 carries at Norristown. Jackson was also a force on defense at outside linebacker. He made a team-high five tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss. “Josh is a natural leader and tremendous worker. He’s worked very hard to prepare for this opportunity,” remarked head coach Matt Bauer.

Jaiheer Dasilvio put the Eagles up 7-0 in the first quarter with a 12-yard touchdown run. The 5’10, 185-pound sophomore chipped in with 39 yards on six carries. Junior Aidan Gerhart made his first start at quarterback. His 15-yard run was the first of three touchdowns in the second quarter for Exeter. Jackson followed with a 4-yard score to give the Eagles a 21-0 cushion. Nick Pashley’s 14-yard catch from Gerhart increased the margin to 28-0 at halftime.

Gerhart wound up 9-of-19 for 97 yards and two interceptions. Brady Adams had three receptions for 27 yards. Sophomore tight end Cayden Reinert added two catches for 33 yards. The 6’4, 210-pound sophomore also made four tackles, including 1.5 TFL. Senior RT/DT Wyatt Richard, a Towson commit, came up with 1.5 sacks.

Reading upset Exeter 5-2 at FirstEnergy Stadium. The Eagles had won six of their previous seven contests.

Muhlenberg blanked Conrad Weiser 9-0. Cooper Burr fired five hitless innings with nine strikeouts. Six players had at least one hit for the Muhls.

Daniel Boone defeated Twin Valley 9-1 in Birdsboro. Sophomore Greyson Bell gave up one unearned run on one hit over 5.2 innings. The southpaw racked up eleven strikeouts. Chase Yenser finished with three hits. He scored a pair of runs and knocked in two more.

Wyomissing used a four-run second inning to top Hamburg 5-1 on “Hawk Hill.” Chase Bailey held Hamburg to one unearned run on three hits in 5.2 innings. Teddy White provided two hits and two runs.

Berks Catholic hammered Brandywine Heights 16-1 in four innings. Henry Pflomm went 2-for-3 and drove in five runs.

Oley Valley cruised past Antietam 8-0. Nick DeBalko limited the Mounts to one hit in 4.2 innings. He struck out nine batters. The Lynx host Kutztown on Wednesday in a battle for first place in Division 4.

Schuylkill Valley beat Tulpehocken 15-5 in six innings. The Panthers took the lead with nine runs in the fourth inning. The Trojans committed eleven errors.

Kutztown held off Executive Education Academy 12-9. The Cougars built a 10-0 cushion in the top of the fourth. Ryan Walters was 2-for-2 with two walks. He scored three times and knocked in a couple of runs. Domanic Nolt added two hits and 2 RBI.

Exeter got thumped at third-seeded Bishop McDevitt 42-0 in the District 3-5A semifinals. The (10-2) Crusaders are the defending state champions in Class 5A. They have an overall record of (71-9) in the District 3 tournament. The Eagles wrapped up their campaign at (10-3).

Twin Valley got off to a slow start, but pulled away from second-seeded West York for a 45-14 victory. The (12-0) Raiders have advanced to the District 3-4A Final for the first time. Drew Engle ran for 250 yards and 4TD. He broke Dominic Caruso’s school record for career rushing yards.

Wyomissing lost a heartbreaker at #1 seed Susquehanna Township 37-35 in the District 3-4A semifinals. Justice Hardy gave the (10-2) Spartans a 35-31 lead on a 9-yard touchdown run with 59 seconds remaining. Marist commit Torin Evans answered with a 15-yard touchdown pass to Josh Nengite on the final play. The (12-0) Indians will square off with Twin Valley next Friday.

Berks Catholic fell to Trinity 17-0 in the District 3-3A Championship at ELCO. The Saints’ season comes to a close with a mark of (9-3). The (10-3) Shamrocks earned their fourth District 3 crown.

Exeter left Conestoga Valley with a 41-34 victory in the District 3-5A quarterfinals. The (10-2) Eagles led 34-7 in the second quarter. They recovered an onside kick with just over a minute to play. #7 seed Exeter visits #3 seed Bishop McDevitt next Friday. The Crusaders have won 18 District 3 championships including four in a row.

Twin Valley rolled over West Perry 55-15 in the District 3-4A quarterfinals at Elverson. Drew Engle ran for 219 yards and 3 TD on 12 carries. He also had a 95-yard pick-6 and a 73-yard kickoff return score. Engle holds the school record for career touchdowns with 53. The (11-0) Raiders head to #2 seed West York next Friday.

Berks Catholic blew out Bermudian Springs 37-6 in the District 3-3A semifinals. The Saints improved to (9-2) with their eighth consecutive win. #1 seed Berks Catholic meets #3 seed Trinity next Friday for the title.

On Saturday, #4 seed Wyomissing battles #5 seed Lampeter-Strasburg in the District 3-4A quarterfinals. Kickoff is set for 1pm at Bob Wolfrum Field. The (9-1) Spartans hammered the (7-3) Pioneers 46-7 in their regular season finale.

#9 seed Muhlenberg lost 35-0 at #8 seed Spring Grove in the opening round of the District 3-5A tournament. The (8-3) Muhls made their first appearance in District’s since 2013. Cam Small ended his career as Muhlenberg’s all-time rushing leader.

#6 seed Schuylkill Valley fell at #3 seed Trinity 35-7 in the District 3-3A quarterfinals. The (5-6) Panthers got knocked out by the (8-3) Shamrocks for the second year in a row.

Gov. Mifflin won 51-14 at Pocono Mountain West in the Eastern Conference 5A/6A Championship. The (4-7) Mustangs outscored the Panthers 35-0 in the second half.

#15 seed Boyertown lost at #2 seed North Penn 42-14 in the first round of the District 1-6A playoffs. The (6-5) Bears trailed 35-0 at halftime. Boyertown qualified for the District 1 tournament for just the third time in program history.

Wilson, Twin Valley, Wyomissing, and Berks Catholic had byes this week.

Muhlenberg lost to Conestoga Valley 45-24 in Laureldale. The undefeated Buckskins earned the Section 2 title. The (8-2) Muhls trailed 28-0 at halftime.

Twin Valley rolled over Daniel Boone 71-7. The (10-0) Raiders captured the Section 4 crown. They’re ranked #3 in the state in Class 4A by PennLive.

Wyomissing blew out Lampeter-Strasburg 46-7. The (9-1) Spartans are #7 in the Class 4A state rankings.

Exeter hammered Elizabethtown 42-7 at Don Thomas Stadium. The Eagles head to the District 3 playoffs with a (8-2) record.

Berks Catholic won the Section 5 championship in thrilling fashion. The (8-2, 7-0) Saints outlasted Annville-Cleona 14-7 in overtime. Owen Schalk had a 10-yard touchdown run in OT.

Gov. Mifflin fell to Ephrata 28-20 in Shillington. The (3-7) Mustangs were without senior quarterback Lebron Leaf due to a shoulder injury.

Reading lost to Hempfield 43-6 at Shirk Stadium. The Red Knights end up (1-9).

Schuylkill Valley came up short in a nailbiter at Lancaster Catholic 17-16. The (5-5) Panthers scored a touchdown with 1:07 left. They opted to go for two points, but the conversion was stuffed by the (6-4) Crusaders.

Fleetwood got tripped up at Cocalico 49-21. The Tigers finished (2-8).

Kutztown left Pequea Valley with a 36-28 victory. The (2-8) Cougars claimed their first league win of the season.

Hamburg got thumped at Columbia 34-6. The Hawks sink to (2-8).

Twin Valley blew out Lampeter-Strasburg 42-7 in Elverson. Drew Engle scored 6 TD for the (9-0, 6-0) Raiders. They’re alone atop the Section 4 standings.

Wilson blanked McCaskey 56-0 in Lancaster. The (8-1) Bulldogs had three defensive touchdowns against the winless Red Tornado. Wilson outgained McCaskey 337-to-37.

Muhlenberg outlasted Academy Park 42-37 in Laureldale. Adriel Baez tossed a go-ahead 18-yard touchdown pass to Freddy Lacey on fourth down with 28 seconds left. The Muhls improved to (8-1).

Gov. Mifflin fell at Elizabethtown 34-16. Mustangs’ quarterback Lebron Leaf suffered a shoulder injury late in the second quarter and didn’t play after halftime. Gov. Mifflin dropped to (3-6).

Reading got tripped up by Oxford 44-12 at Shirk Stadium. The Red Knights fell to (1-8).

Berks Catholic cruised past Hamburg 38-7 on “Hawk Hill.” Meanwhile, Annville-Cleona doubled up Schuylkill Valley 14-7. The Dutchmen and Saints remain tied for first place in Section 5.

Cocalico left Robesonia with a 27-17 victory over Conrad Weiser. The (4-5) Scouts have lost five straight games.

Daniel Boone earned its first win of the season. The Blazers knocked off Northern Lebanon 26-23 in Birdsboro.

Fleetwood got thumped at home by Solanco 49-13. The Tigers sit at (2-7).

Kutztown came up short in a high-scoring affair with Columbia. The (1-8) Cougars fell 40-35.

On Saturday, Wyomissing hosts Octorara at 1:30pm. The (7-1) Spartans are ranked #7 in the state by PennLive in Class 4A.
