2024 is here! The high school basketball season is moving full steam ahead. Wilson has a big non-league test at Parkland on Wednesday. The Bulldogs face Reading in West Lawn on Friday. Berks Catholic is back home after its trip to Florida. The Saints host Gov. Mifflin this Friday. Oley Valley and Schuylkill Valley square off in Leesport on Tuesday. Here’s a glimpse at where Berks County teams sit in the District 3 power rankings.

Happy New Year! As we kickoff 2024, here are the District 3 boys basketball power rankings. This lets you know where Berks County teams stand. League play gets cranked up this week. Reading hosts Exeter on Tuesday and Wilson on Thursday. Those should be some intense nights at the Geigle Complex.

Here are the latest District 3 football power rankings. If the postseason started now, six Berks County teams would be going to the District 3 playoffs. Berks Catholic fell to #8 in Class 3A after its loss at home to Cocalico. Conrad Weiser has slipped to #13 in Class 4A. The Scouts have dropped four in a row. There are no Berks County teams in Class A or AA. The higher seeded teams will host throughout the District 3 playoffs.
