Sheehan was joined on the offensive line by guards Joey Buckley and Isaiah Saunders, as well as right tackle Gavin Ketner. Logan Acton started at center in place of Gavin Tilling (6’1, 320). Buckley and Ketner each tip the scale at 270 pounds. The Raiders’ defensive line includes Sheehan, Buckley, and Ryan Simerly at tackle. Andrew Cabigas and Alain Bazile are on the edge. Wyomissing scored on the opening drive of the game, but didn’t reach the end zone again until the final four minutes when the starters were out. Meanwhile, Twin Valley got touchdowns on its first six consecutive possessions. The (0-2) Spartans trailed 42-7 at halftime.

On third-and-14, Brady Eisenhower lofted a 25-yard pass to Andrew DiFabrizio in the right corner of the end zone. That early touchdown followed a 30-yard completion to Zander Westwood. The Raiders responded 90 seconds later with a 42-yard touchdown run by Lucas Myers. The Villanova commit and All-State linebacker was just getting warmed up. After an interception by Grant Moser, Maverik Foster broke free for a 24-yard run down the right sideline. Brett Myers then put his son, Lucas, in the wildcat formation from the 1-yard line. Lucas Myers plunged straight ahead for a 14-7 advantage with 1:34 left in the first quarter. Myers ran off left tackle for a 56-yard touchdown less than a minute into the second period. “It’s awesome. He just finds the hole. He does his job so well,” remarked Sheehan about Myers.

The margin increased to 28-7 thanks to a 60-yard touchdown pass from sophomore Gavan Foster to Brody Majeski. The 6’1 senior wide receiver was uncovered down the right seam with 6:45 remaining before halftime. Moser took a reverse 65 yards for another big play. That score put Twin Valley in front 35-7 with 1:52 to go in the second quarter. The Raiders forced a punt and got the ball back at their 44-yard line with 1:16 left. Myers was tripped up at the 7-yard line following a 49-yard run. “He shouldn’t get caught from behind. That’s probably an issue that he’s gotta fix. Other than that, he saw the holes pretty well. We worked on getting downhill a little bit more than usual,” said Brett Myers. It was 42-7 after Maverik Foster’s 7-yard touchdown run with 42 seconds remaining in the first half.

Lucas Myers finished with 154 yards and 3 TD on only six carries. The 6’1, 220-pound senior also made eight tackles. Moser provided 67 yards on three touches. The senior safety had eight tackles, one sack, and an interception. Maverik Foster chipped in with 56 yards on six carries. The junior safety came up with an interception in the third quarter. His younger brother, Gavan, went 6-of-8 for 104 yards and a touchdown. Majeski made three catches for 74 yards and a score.

A 2-yard touchdown run by sophomore Tashaun Pearson got Wyomissing within 42-14 with 3:37 on the clock. The Spartans have been outscored 70-20 by the Raiders in their last two contests. Wyomissing is (0-2) for the first time since 2016. The Spartans did end up winning eight games that season and reaching the District 3-3A championship.

Maverik’s younger brother, Gavan, got Twin Valley off to a great start. Rylan Simerly recovered a fumble by Sincere Littlejohn on the opening possession. The turnover set up the Raiders at the Indians’ 37-yard line. Gavan Foster, a 6’3 sophomore, lofted a perfect pass to Brody Majeski in the right corner of the end zone. Despite excellent coverage by 5’8 junior Jachai Grannison, Majeski reeled in the football for a 31-yard score just three minutes into the game. Maverik Foster has made the transition from quarterback to running back. The switch allows him to play defense this season. “It’s awesome. I liked quarterback but not being able to play both sides of the field, I feel like I can help my team out more,” explained Maverik Foster. He threw for 1,302 yards with 17 TD and 3 INT in 2025 as Twin Valley reached the state final for the first time in program history.

The Raiders went up 14-0 on Susquehanna Township early in the second quarter. Villanova commit Lucas Myers broke off a 27-yard run which was followed by a 25-yard pass to Majeski. Maverik Foster ended the 90-yard drive with a 3-yard touchdown run. The (0-2) Indians flashed their big-play ability late in the first half. Feidt, a 6’2 lefty, showed off his arm strength by firing a long pass from his own end zone down the right sideline. Sweatt III made a leaping grab and raced 65 yards for a 97-yard touchdown. The 6’, 160-pound senior receiver pulled Susquehanna Township within 14-7 with 3:09 remaining before halftime. Twin Valley took over the ensuing series at its 25-yard line. Gavan Foster found his tight end, Jayce Oliver, open for a 69-yard completion. The 6’2, 215-pound senior rumbled all the way to the 6-yard line. Ben Roswick drilled a 25-yard field goal as time expired to give the Raiders a 17-7 edge at the break.

West Virginia commit and Harrisburg transfer Rick Brown intercepted Foster at midfield to begin the second half. Brown, a 220-pound senior linebacker, had more than 100 tackles for the Cougars in each of the past two years. On fourth-and-6 at the 32-yard line, Twin Valley was penalized for roughing the passer. Moments later, Feidt hit Sweatt III down the right seam for an 18-yard touchdown pass. The extra point was missed which made it 17-13 with 6:03 to go in the third quarter. Jasani Brown, a lanky 6’4 senior safety, made an interception over the middle on the next possession. Littlejohn ripped off a 34-yard run to midfield, but the Indians’ drive stalled.

Susquehanna Township reached the Raiders’ 35-yard line with three minutes left. Feidt’s pass on fourth-and-5 fell incomplete. The Indians got the ball back one more time at their 33-yard line with 37 seconds on the clock. Sweatt III made two defenders miss and turned the completion into a 28-yard gain. He caught another ball along the left sideline for a 12-yard pickup to the 33-yard line. That led to the final heave into the end zone by Feidt. Sweatt III had a look of disbelief on his face after the official ruled him out of bounds. He made a tremendous effort to catch the ball as he fell to the ground. The official, who was standing right there, immediately signaled that the pass was incomplete.

Myers, a 220-pound senior, finished with a team-high five tackles. Oliver and Keenan Munn added four tackles apiece. “We’ve been emphasizing all week to get eleven [players] to the ball. We know they’re a fast team,” noted Maverik Foster. He also provided 54 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. Myers had 50 yards on 17 carries. Twin Valley piled up 461 total yards, including 387 on the ground, in last year’s District 3-4A Championship. On Friday, the Raiders were limited to 129 yards on 39 carries. Gavan Foster was 8-of-15 for 182 yards in his second start. He threw a touchdown and two interceptions. “He’s doing amazing. He’s definitely still working into the role, got some things to learn. He had a great game,” said Maverik Foster. Majeski had a team-high five receptions for 93 yards and a score. Twin Valley has another test coming up on Saturday afternoon when they travel to Wyomissing.
